By the way, are you okay with your problem that you told me about earlier today? StarCraft (talk) 23:51, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
- Which problem? The background color? Aidanzapunk (talk) 23:56, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, just making sure if you're alright on that. StarCraft (talk) 00:02, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- I guess it's fine the way it is. Reminds me of the Zelda Wiki, in a way. Aidanzapunk (talk) 00:06, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- If your not liking it, you can always change the design under preferences in the Appearance group. Monobook is just the default design. StarCraft (talk) 00:10, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- I tried making a CSS. Didn't work out too well. :P Aidanzapunk (talk) 00:16, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

Thanks[edit source]
For cleaning up the messes on my pages that have been created as a result of the move. I'll try to avoid as many of those as I can in the future. John3637881 (talk) 16:33, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- You can fix those yourself, if you want. I just was taking care of the "User:DekZek/SSBD" shit. Aidanzapunk (talk) 16:34, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
I think you're shrinking the series symbols[edit source]
Are you saving them at their full resolution or just the preview? ---Preceding unsigned comment added by cupid♥. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 20:05, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- The image I'm saving is the one that SmashWiki has (example) Aidanzapunk (talk) 20:57, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- Are you saving it from here or from here? The Zelda symbol isn't the best example, but certain pictures are larger than the file information page shows. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by cupid♥. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 00:15, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- The latter, but because of the size of the image, both display it at the same size. I just click the latter out of habit. :P Aidanzapunk (talk) 00:25, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

Stages[edit source]
Why did you cut various stages? John3637881 (talk) 18:54, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- Certain stages were disliked by many; others felt redundant. An example of the former would be Pac-Land, and an example of the latter would be Green Hill Zone. Aidanzapunk (talk) 19:02, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- In fact, some even fell into both categories, such as Jungle Japes. Aidanzapunk (talk) 19:04, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- I can understand cutting Pac-Land (I've got some good replacements in mind) but I don't think there would be harm in adding at least a second Mother stage. Arena Ferox may be visually similar to Coliseum, but it's a better as a legal stage. I can also understand wanting to cut down on stages in order to make the template a little smaller, but there must be a better way of going about it. John3637881 (talk) 20:12, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- The size of the template was actually irrelevant to the choices I made. That being said, if you would like to add Arena Ferox back, you can; I can probably find more music from Awakening to go on it. Aidanzapunk (talk) 20:53, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- Music is part of my issue here. A lot of Mother songs wouldn't fit on Magicant very well, but would on Onett or Fourside. That's one reason why I'd like at least one more. John3637881 (talk) 21:01, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- If you would like to add Onett back, that's fine. That's actually one of the few disliked stages I'd legitimately play on if forced to. Aidanzapunk (talk) 21:20, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, that will be enough for me, but I do think the game still has room for one of Mother's metropolises. "Competitively viable form" is a pretty vague term. A lot could change on the stage to make it better. As for me, Omega Onett is probably my favorite stage on the Wii U version. John3637881 (talk) 21:24, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

- Don't get me wrong, Magicant is probably my favorite stage of them all. I just like having more than one Mother stage. Big Blue as an alt for Port Town Aero Dive would be nice too. John3637881 (talk) 01:53, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

About your stages[edit source]
I have an idea to make this take less universes. All stuff based on the "real world" (the two stages, Fred_, designer trophies, etc.) are in this "Earth" universe. What do you think? I can explain this better on the IRC. DekZek (talk) 16:56, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- I decided against that because France and Ireland are really separate countries, and so they should have their own separate things.
- My computer won't allow me onto the IRC, for some reason. I might not have a thing that lets me.
- ...Fred_?
- Aidanzapunk (talk) 16:58, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Sub-Universes.
- Special:WebChat
- My dog. IRC inside joke, might add him as a fighter at some point.
- DekZek (talk) 17:09, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- So like Donkey Kong and Yoshi style?
- Oh. That, I think I can do.
- Ah.

Swampy[edit source]
I'm sorry, but I will not let Swampy be cut. Trainiax (talk) 23:06, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I'm known to be very competitive (and quite stubborn, in all honesty), so why don't you give me one good reason, a legitimate reason, why Swampy should not be cut. Aidanzapunk (talk) 23:09, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Uh, because there's nothing wrong with him as a character? As long as he has a moveset, why do we get the right to "yes" or "no" certain characters based on personal preference? ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 01:11, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, why were people cut in the move? It seems unfair. If we decided Wendy is too obscure, and we cu them, you wouldn't be happy, would you? 98.157.202.185 01:17, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- I was under the impression that we just cut them because not much effort was put into them, not that we were banning them from being made. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 01:18, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Espically if the new version is much more detailed. 98.157.202.185 01:20, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

(reset indent) I personally do not like idea of Swampy. Swampy was one of the reasons why I almost split from SSBD entirely (that and Cory Baxter and Snoop Dogg as Assist Trophies). I was on the fence as it was about Elsa, but more Disney character reps than that is overkill (note that Marvel and Star Wars don't count, as Disney doesn't have 100% control over them). Disaster Flare (talk) 01:49, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Which matters how? 98.157.202.185 01:58, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- It matters greatly. If a character is bad enough to make someone leave the project entirely, you know we have a problem. Disaster Flare (talk) 01:59, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- If the person quits, that's their problem. Cutting a character isn't the solution. I personally hate Yang (sorry), and including anime sounds ridiculous, so should we cut them because some people don't like them? That's ridiculous. Plus, why does a character matter that much? 98.157.202.185 02:05, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Ask yourself this: Does Swampy seriously seem like he's fit for a FIGHTING game? That's the point we're trying to get at here. Yes, we've seen some questionable content, and Elsa just barely fits a fighting game, but Swampy is nowhere NEAR close. That's our problem with him. Disaster Flare (talk) 02:07, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Characters make the fighting game. Why do you think so many people hate Street Fighter X Tekken? Because of Pac-Man. And Mega Man. Aidanzapunk (talk) 02:09, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but arbitrarily deciding who can or cannot be included is not fair. End of story. This is supposed to be a game where any character can be included. Keeping out real people is one thing, but this is not fair. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 02:10, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- I can't agree with that. Why would we allow characters who aren't fit for a fighting game? You can't look at me with a straight face and say someone like Dora the Explorer would be a good character. Disaster Flare (talk) 02:12, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- If they had a full moveset, then yes, they would. I find it hard to believe she could. But I would have no problem with her being included if she did. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 02:13, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Swampy didn't even have a full moveset done. Disaster Flare (talk) 02:15, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

- My goal was to do it tomorrow anyway; I can't save edits on my computer when on my home wifi (for whatever reason), and something like this definitely requires a computer to easily accomplish. :P

A few questions[edit source]
Thanks for making some of my image uploads transparent. What program do you use to make images transparent? Also, how do you upload gifs to this wiki? I know of several sites you can use to make gifs, but I'm not sure how to upload them without making them still (thus defeating the purpose of uploading a gif). John 20px PK SMAAAASH!! 18:03, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
- No problem.
- I don't use a program per se; I use Pixlr. If you want, you can email me (aidanthegamer5@gmail.com) and I can give you a full tutorial that won't clog up my talk page lol.
- Gifs are one of the files you can upload onto this wiki. Just take a gif you find online, save it onto your computer (right-click, then "Save image as..."), and then upload it.
- Aidanzapunk (talk) 18:09, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
- When uploading the gif, should it be moving when you select it from your files? John 20px PK SMAAAASH!! 01:16, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
- No, but if it's not moving when you fully upload it, then we have a problem. Aidanzapunk (talk) 01:51, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I can try uploading a gif, and we can just delete it if it doesn't work. John 20px PK SMAAAASH!! 02:00, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

Two questions[edit source]
1. Why is the Wiki closing down? and 2. What do I do with my ideas here? Coonfoot (talk) 20:48, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- The wiki is dead. Many people (myself included) left, and people just stopped contributing.
- I'm not sure, that's your call. You could make, like, your own fanmade pages on your SmashWiki userspace or something.
