Knuckles (ナックルズ・ザ・エキドゥナ, Knuckles the Echidna) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Dream. Confirmed on December 11th, Knuckles is a tribute to the terminated Project M. Travis Willingham and Nobutoshi Kanna, the English and Japanese voice actors for Knuckles, reprise their roles.
How to unlock[edit | edit source]
- Play 30 VS matches as Sonic.
- Clear Classic Mode on intensity 8.0 or higher as Sonic.
Knuckles must then be defeated on Sky Sanctuary.
Attributes[edit | edit source]
Knuckles attacks almost entirely with punches, as a nod to his immense strength in his home series. In addition, all of his attacks are fast, making him a threat in close quarters. However, while his grounded movement is very quick, his aerial movement isn't, making it difficult for him to chase aerial opponents. His recovery, while strong, is not very impressive, making him vulnerable to meteor smashes and semi-spikes.
